Description
A distinctive jacket featuring the Gryphon, the mythical creature, guardian of Apollo’s treasures, cupbearer of Dionysus, and a symbol of power. The Gryphon appears in depictions flanking royal thrones and as the emblem of the ancient city of Abdera in Thrace. Hand-embroidered by the women of M. Derio in the Evros region on woven cotton fabric.
