A pillow crafted from cotton fabric, featuring the meticulously embroidered Griffin. According to mythology, the Griffin was the guardian of Apollo’s treasures and the cupbearer of Dionysus.
As a symbol of power, it was also the emblem of the ancient city of Abdera in Thrace.
