Description
Coat with the theme “the heraldic creatures”. Mythical animals from Greek mythology, serpent-like and eagle-like dragons that guarded the Earth’s treasures, springs, and waters, protecting the pious and destroying the impious. The design is inspired by a 19th century church metope fresco from the Evros region. Hand-embroidered by the women of M. Derio in the Evros region on vintage woven cotton fabric.
A truly one-of-a-kind piece.
