The gallops of horses are sounds of a deeply rooted tradition in Thrace.
From the mythical horses of Diomedes and Rhesus
—who, according to the Homeric epics, ran like the winds—
to the Hero or Thracian Rider, and Saint George, the holy warrior against evil and injustice.
