Horses
The gallops of the horses in Thrace
are sounds of deep tradition.
From the mythical horses of Diomedes, as well as those of Rhesus
— which ran like the winds according to the Homeric epics —
to the Lord Hero or Thracian Horseman and the dragon-slaying rider St. George,
the saint-warrior against evil and injustice.
